Coordinates health care services through the Nursing Station
Provides services of visiting physicians several days per week through a contract agreement with Independent First Nations Alliance (IFNA) and Anton Meyers Doctors (AMDOCS)
Ontario Telemedicine Network (OTN)
Allows specialists to remotely examine and prescribe treatments to patients in their home communities
Assistance with coordinating local and long distance travel arrangements for medical appointments
Provides dentist and dental hygienist services every few weeks through a visiting dentist
health team consists of Community Health representatives, visiting Physicians and Home Care workers
Emergency services
Advocacy on behalf of individual with other health professionals
Coordination of one-on-one pre-natal care with the community health nurse
Reduces the need to travel to receive care
Provides opportunity for workshops and education sessions for staff and patients
Provides access to specialized medical care using videoconferencing and other tele-diagnostic equipment
Addresses individual health care needs by providing:
